CHARACTER(S): N/A.
INVITED BY: Caps.
NAME: Red.
AGE: 31.
CANON: Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon (game verse.)
CANON POINT: Before the protagonist battles him at the Battle Tree.
CRAU: N/A.
OTHER: Red has made a cameo throughout the game verse even if he started out as the first protagonist. It's implied he has grown up to an adult in the Sun/Moon games, as he works at a Battle Tree as a veteran trainer. He also looks a lot older than the Sun/Moon protagonist. None of this "10 year old forever" thing like with Ash in the anime adaptation.
SUITABILITY: Red is suitable for the game because he loves challenges that he has to face. He would find the Game 52 something exciting and fun and sees sex as a transactional thing to do in order to "win." (He really does consider everything an opportunity to win.) Red has traveled most of his world's region on foot in the wilderness which is full of elemental monsters.. and he started doing this at the age of 11. He's taken down a criminal organization as a child, so I mean.. he's been through a lot of stuff and has drastically matured from it.

HISTORY:
Red is the playable protagonist of the original Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow franchise, and although he is very relatable to the player, there are a lot of key things about his personality and endeavors that make him stand out from a malleable protagonist. Although he has several different counterparts and adaptations, Red from the videogames is seen as a quiet, serious young man with a lot of competitive spirit and determination.ABILITIES: He is just your regular guy, but Red does have some notable skills. He's accustomed to a rough terrain from traveling to many regions on his feet (or bike) and is used to harsh environmental factors. Red knows how to survive in the wild, and he is physically fit to have a decent amount of strength for an average human. Considering he is a Pokemon trainer, Red knows how to cook and look after Pokemon, which sometimes translates into how he treats people who may need help as well.
Born in a small city named Pallet Town, Red is seen to have no other siblings and only a single mother with the status of his father unknown. At the age of 11, he receives his first Pokemon from Professor Oak, which can vary depending on the player's choice. Red is given the task to fill out his Pokedex, but he also travels from town to town, defeating Gym Leaders and obtaining Badges. During this time, he comes across the leader of a criminal organization, Giovanni, and interferes with Giovanni's plans to steal the Master Ball and use Silph Co. for nefariousness reasons. Red is praised numerous times by various NPCs for being a skilled trainer and he eventually becomes to Kanto Region Champion after de-throwning his rival who has been trying to uphand him throughout the entire game, Green. The game concludes after this but players may continue to fill out their Pokedex and continue encountering legendary Pokemon such as Mewtwo and Mew. Red is known in his world as a living legend for his accomplishments.
However, Red follows alongside the generations of Pokemon games. He is next seen in Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal as a cameo and bonus character to battle up on the summit of Mt. Silver. He has the highest leveled Pokemon in the game, making him difficult to defeat and implying that he has been training his Pokemon hard and well. It's implied Red has been on the freezing summit for quite some time, putting his Pokemon through an intense training regimen. When he is defeated on Mt. Silver, Red has nothing to say, but he leaves Mt. Silver, showing that he needs to go elsewhere to become stronger. Red returns for a determined rematch after the protagonist defeats the Elite Four once again.
Red is seen next in Pokemon Black/White 2 as a participant in the Pokemon World Tournament's Champions Tournament as a competitor the protagonist can defeat. Fast-forward a couple of generations, Red is now seen as a boss of the Battle Tree alongside Green in the Generation VII games Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. It seems like he has settled down in what is Pokemon's version of Hawaii (Alola) with a full time job. How long will that last, though?
Red is also a caretaker, as he is praised by Professor Oak and other NPCs, showing a close bond between himself and his companions.
VICES:
COMPETITIVENESS: Red is easily drawn to any sort of games or competitions that have prizes, so I think he could get into a lot of trouble at the casino. It'll be very easy to enable him to participate. Afterall, he's relentless when it comes to trying to be the "world's greatest" Pokemon trainer, he will probably apply that logic with no question in the casino, so he should be a very easy target to games and events. He's a determined and hard working individual who stays closed off (it's noted that he never texts his mom back anymore) and is flighty with his endeavors often looking for the next challenge that he can master.
STUBBORNNESS: Once Red has his mind set on something, it's very unlike that it is going to change, even if it puts him at risk. He's mysterious, giving little to no dialogue but stuck in his own ways when it comes to training his Pokemon because of how difficult he is to beat. If someone were to warn Red about some foreseen danger, he would likely ignore them if his heart was determined to pursue after a decision. It doesn't matter to him if it is dangerous or not the best idea, Red doesn't listen to much advice from people and that is probably way he has closed himself off to many.. so he can focus on his ambitions and how he wants to do it.
VIRTUES:
GENUINE/HUMBLENESS: Like any solid hero, Red had a lot of honesty and humbleness. This can sometimes impact his decision making, but ultimately, he can't really lie, even if he is trying to meet the expectations of others. Overall, Red has a kind heart even if he is regarded with a lot of respect. He stays focused and doesn't let his success get to him, shaping him as a well rounded good guy to be respected. Red does what he does not because he wants fame and fortune, but because he is following his heart with a wholesome attitude that means no harm to anyone.
JUSTICE: Considering Red dismantled an entire crime organization, he can decipher what is morally right and what is morally wrong. He has a tendency to sway to the "good" on the moral scale and this puts him as quite the hero type. Depending on what he is faced against, his moral compass might get through to his ambitious behavior and talk some sense into him. Red also dislikes to see injustice and would see fighting for injustice as an opportunity where he could "win" but ultimately feel good about doing so. This alone can be a heavy motivator for his actions.
SUIT REQUESTS:
DIAMONDS: Of course, I'm a filthy A/B/O player and would love to see Red end up with some interesting anatomy and animalistic desires. He would find the behavior unlike him, but seem to understand that it's possibly what Pokemon experience while breeding. Red is a closed off person emotionally, but finds sex as something easy to partake in (and like most people his age, he does enjoy it.) Giving a different kind of twist on his way of having sex could be fun for him and for me. I play Red mostly as a top/dominant, but I would love to see him experience more bottom/submissive behavior and see him go into heat at times instead. This would leave him with less control over a situation, which could cause some interesting conflict.
SPADES: While I debated Hearts for the second suit suggestion, Spades is my second choice. Red is the all around good guy, but seeing some darker traits sounds fun.. things such as obsession, overconfidence to the point where he's arrogant.. it may make him act more like his rival or Giovanni and he would hate to be compared to them. Red has a lot of accomplishments that can make him be less grateful and humble about, and I can see these traits making him a rather intimidating dominant partner when they do come out. Red has a tendency to be intimidating anyway, but seeing more of that side of him come to life would be interesting!
